The collection includes 3 folders. Folder 1: Jaquith's speech to the Abraham Lincoln Association, Feb. 12, 1937, "The Persistent Personality of Lincoln," later delivered on Vox Pop radio, generated correspondence, 1938-39, with these Lincolnists: Paul Angle, Roy P. Basler, Wayne Delavan, W. Edward Athearn, Harry O. Knerr, Harry E. Pratt, M.A. Cook, George P. Hambrecht, M.G. Shannon, Bertha Bennett, F. Ray Risdon, Dorothy Brown, and Henry Luhrs. Folder 2: Clippings mainly ca. 1915-16 and 1933-1940, from New York Times, other eastern papers and magazines. Folder 3: Several rare-book dealer lists from Argosy Books, Daniel Newhall, and Lincolniana Publishers (Ft. Wayne); 29 leaves of typed excerpts from Emanuel Hertz, The Hidden Lincoln (pub. 1938); 7 printed speeches and papers by other scholars.
